CMC Harken Winch Power Tool Adapter
This Power Tool Adapter enables the use of a drill to driveĀ Harkenās LokHead WinchĀ andĀ Traction Winch 500. It fits all standard drill chucks and can be used with drill speeds up to 60 RPM. For drill speeds up to 400 RPM, the Power Tool Adapter must be used with theĀ Harken Protect-Connect. The Power Tool Adapter and a drill may be used with the NFPA-certified LokHead Winch Fire/Rescue Kit for human suspension. Likewise, using this adapter, a drill, the Traction Winch 500, and an NFPA-certified descent control device such as the CLUTCH as a progress capture device will satisfy the requirements of NFPA. Please note that use of a drill and this adapter to move personnel is not compliant with EN13157 which governs only hand-powered machines.
